Battery energy

C-Job are experts in implementing battery and charging solutions according to vessel type, application, operational costs, onboard location and other factors. We have conducted numerous feasibility studies, concept, basic, and detail designs to integrate battery technology in a range of vessels, in real-world operational environments.

Batteries have an essential role in filling the gap between the power curve and power source in electric-powered vessels. They provide 100% reduction of tank-to-propeller GHG emissions, and efficient direct power supply to the DC grid. As well as being the main energy source, they can have different applications, such as spinning reserve and peak shaving.

Generally, batteries are best suited for ships with a very limited autonomy or in combination with electrical power generation system (peak shaving). To create an optimum, well-engineered battery system, C-Job will create a detailed operational profile for your vessel, and consider its duty cycle and lifecycle expectations, so you can be confident in an effective energy transition.
