A-Rosa Sena – for Concordia Damen

C-Job supported Concordia Damen with the concept, basic and detail design and engineering for the A-Rosa Sena, a river cruise vessel. Designed for A-Rosa Cruises, the German cruise company, the vessel is the largest capacity ship in its fleet, with a record total of 140 cabins for 280 guests. A standout feature of the design is an additional fourth accommodation deck compared to conventional vessels on this cruise route.
About the project

Passenger capacity increased by unique design

The A-Rosa Sena operates in the river Rhein, where she needs to pass bridges with limited height. To meet this challenge, C-Job created a unique ship structure with a fourth accommodation deck and full system integration within the same air draught, to significantly increase passenger capacity while allowing bridge clearance.

C-Job’s basic and detail engineering also included the integration of mission equipment and stability calculations.

The 135-meter E-Motion vessel has a hybrid propulsion system with diesel and electric engines and battery storage. While cruising, the propulsion system operates in the optimum power range and excess energy is stored in the battery. This means the A-Rosa Sena can dock in ports almost silently and without local emissions.

The impressive facilities of the river cruise vessel include a spa, a wellness center, two swimming pools, three restaurants, a live entertainment area and a children’s activity area. As well as luxury cabins, all standard cabins have a private balcony for maximum comfort.

Fully electric ferry – for Saronic Ferries

Based on our history and experience in electric ferries, C-Job was engaged to work on a fully electric, zero-emission 85-meter ferry for Saronic Ferries in Greece. This concept design required C-Job to balance optimized onboard energy usage with sufficient battery power to meet the electrical propulsion demands of a longer-haul ferry.
