C-Job CSD Series 

The C-Job CSD Series is a flexible and adaptable concept design for mid-range cutter suction dredgers, with a dredge discharge diameter of 20-40 inches. The dredger design can be stationary, for use in the USA and other markets, or there’s the option to have installed power up to 30,000 horsepower if a self-propelled dredger is required.
About the project

Greater power and flexibility for dredgers  

Thanks to its adaptive platform, shipowners can completely tailor the design of the CSD Series to a desired operational profile. Some of the many options available include: self-propelled or stationary service; an anchor boom system; a barge loading system; motion compensation in the spud carrier and cutter ladder system; a Christmas tree system and a spud tilting system. The vessel is designed for renewable marine fuels such as methanol but can also run on regular marine diesel oil.

A new CSD 30″ – for the Port of Portland

To maintain its shipping channel, the maintenance dredger Oregon has been hard at work for the Port of Portland since its construction in 1965. Due to its age, the Port reached out to C-Job to create a concept design for a new CSD 30”, to replace the Oregon, which could run on marine diesel oil and also be methanol-ready.

Ursa – for Työvene

The Ursa, a trailing suction hopper dredger (THSD), was built by the Työvene shipyard for the Maritime office of Gdynia, and is the first of their fleet.
C-Job was responsible for the concept, basic and detail design, and the integration of dredging equipment.

Vox Amalia – for Van Oord

C-Job collaborated with Van Oord, a global leader in dredging and marine construction, for the development of the Vox Amalia, a trailing suction hopper dredger (TSHD) with a capacity of 18,900 m³. Van Oord provided the business case and operational requirements, while C-Job performed a feasibility study, concept design, basic design review, and detail design, and provided building supervision support.
