Operational profile analysis

Our operational profile analysis uses real-life data to simulate operational and economic scenarios. We then use insights from this analysis to precisely tune a vessel's design to its purpose.

The analysis will benefit shipowners in most scenarios. With new-build vessels, it provides insights into fundamentals such as required operational speeds or calculating mission equipment specifications. For existing vessels, the analysis can determine if the vessel’s design speed and operational speed are mismatched, or if fuel consumption could be optimized.

An operational profile analysis empowers our designers and engineers to make data-driven design choices using operational data trends. For example, we can optimize the assumed vessel size to more closely match operational needs, or perform a Computational Fluid Dynamics study to see if hull modifications would improve sailing efficiency.
