Rotterdam

Rotterdam has a rich maritime history and has the largest seaport in Europe. C-Job first opened its office in 2017 and moved in 2019 to accommodate our growing team of naval architects and engineers. Situated on the Nieuwe Maas (close to Rotterdam), on occasion our team can see some of the vessels they have designed sail by, such as the A-Rosa Sena.

600-passenger vessel – for a German cruise company

C-Job supported a family-owned cruise company when a ship needed Tier III modifications to become compliant with Norwegian Heritage Fjords and Mediterranean sailing regulations. This required a comprehensive upgrade to the vessel's power system.

Anna Weber-van Bosse – for NIOZ

The Pelagia has been the Netherlands' flagship ocean-going research vessel for the past 30 years. When the Royal Netherlands Institute for Sea Research (NIOZ) decided to replace her, the ambition was to build a larger, yet compact vessel, with increased capabilities and improved sustainability. C-Job provided the concept design for the new vessel, the Anna Weber-van Bosse – named after the renowned Dutch botanist and marine researcher.

Chemgas Sno, Storm, Sumatra – for Chemgas

Chemgas operates its own fleet of inland, seagoing, and sea/river-going vessels to transport petrochemical gases. When the company decided to update its fleet, C-Job assisted to ensure that designs for three new LPG inland tankers – called Sno, Storm and Sumatra – were feasible. We also visualized proposed changes, and prepared final specifications for the shipyard.
