Dredging lays the groundwork for the next generation, supports maritime infrastructure, and protects environments. Whether it is a cutter suction dredger, trailing suction hopper dredger or water injection dredger, they get their job done. At C-Job, we create the next generation. We show what’s possible through innovation, sustainable solutions, and new technology. Our portfolio of services, designs, and programs guarantees better OPEX and CAPEX for new vessels, as well as existing ones.

Työvene | ‘Ursa’

C-Job is responsible for the concept, basic, and detail design including the integration of dredging equipment supplied by Holland Marine Technologies of a trailing suction hopper dredger for Työvene. The maintenance TSHD has been built by Työvene for its owner the Maritime office of Gdynia and is set to be used to preserve the main waterway between the Gulf of Gdansk through the Vistula Lagoon to the Elbląg River. It will also be used to maintain track depth parameters of smaller ports of the Vistula Lagoon.

C-Job CSD Series

The C-Job CSD series presents the solution for mid-range cutter suction dredgers featuring a dredge discharge diameter of 20 to 40 inch and total installed power from any size up to 30,000 horsepower.

Thanks to the adaptive platform underpinning the CSD series, shipowners can completely tailor the design to their desired operational profile while benefitting from a full range of design solutions.

C-Job TSHD Series

C-Job is creating a modular trailing suction hopper dredger series that will fill the gap between standard designs and fully tailored vessels. The first in the TSHD series is the multifunctional 14,000 m3 TSHD. The dredger is optimized for shallow water performance and features two (extendable) suction pipes, self-unloading systems, and eco-friendly features.

Mike Hooks | Lorraine Hooks

C-Job was responsible for the full design scope including the majority of the dredge equipment for a cutter suction dredge on behalf of SPI / Mobile Pulley Works. The 27-inch CSD ‘Lorraine Hooks’ is the latest edition to the fleet of US dredging company Mike Hooks.

GLDD | Galveston Island

C-Job created the initial design, concept design, and basic design package of a trailing suction hopper dredger, Galveston Island, together with her owner Great Lakes Dredge & Dock Corporation. The TSHD has a capacity of 6,500 cubic yards. The vessel is specifically designed to be easy to build. The vessel is currently under construction at Conrad Shipyard with delivery in early 2023.

After their satisfaction with the first vessel, GLDD has decided to order a second 6,500-cubic-yard-capacity TSHD. The new vessel will be a sister ship to the Galveston Island and is planned for delivery in the first quarter of 2025.

Callan Marine | General MacArthur

C-Job supported SPI / Mobile Pulley Works with the design of the cutter ladder for the ‘General MacArthur’. The General MacArthur, owned by Callan Marine, is one of the largest and most powerful cutter suction dredge in the United States dredging fleet, with 24,000 installed horsepower.

Van Oord | ‘Vox Amalia’

C-Job Naval Architects co-created the trailing suction hopper dredger (TSHD) ‘Vox Amalia’ with her owner Van Oord. The ‘Vox Amalia’ is a trailing suction hopper dredger (TSHD) designed by C-Job Naval Architects in collaboration with her owner Van Oord. The TSHD has a capacity of 18,900 m3. Furthermore, the dredger features two suction drag arms, bottom doors, and two rainbow nozzles. She was launched in 2018 and currently sails around the world to perform the most complex dredging contracts.

USACE | TSHD

C-Job is a trusted partner of the United States Corps of Engineers. We have developed a concept design for a trailing suction hopper dredger in collaboration with USACE.

STX Lorient | St. Pierre

C-Job created the concept, basic, and detail design of the trailing suction hopper dredger ‘St. Pierre’ for STX Lorient, the French shipyard. The vessel features a hopper capacity of 2,000 m3. Her operations focus on winning sand from the sea and transporting it inland. A slender design was established in keeping with her longer traveling time.
