C-Job Nikolayev – the naval architecture and marine engineering company, part of C-Job Naval Architects, based in Ukraine – has received the ISO 9001:2015 certification. The certification is proof that C-Job Nikolayev is aware of the requirements of its stakeholders, the effectiveness and efficiency of its internal processes, the need for continuous improvement of services. Furthermore, the company is aware of the risks involved and has methods in place to minimize and manage these risks.

“The ISO 9001:2015 certification will contribute to our effectiveness and efficiency as a company,” comments Yurii Maksymov, Quality and General Project Manager at C-Job Nikolayev.

The route to C-Job Nikolayev’s certification started with a thorough analysis of its internal and external processes. The internal analysis focused on the strengths and weaknesses of the company, and the external analysis focused on the opportunities and threats. C-Job Nikolayev also carried out a stakeholder analysis to determine the working relationships and potential risks concerning its akeholders such as clients, employees, suppliers, financial institutes, regulatory bodies and certification societies.

“In order to meet the needs and requirements of our clients and other stakeholders, it is important to be aware of our internal processes and the risks that are involved during every step,” continues Yurii. “ISO 9001:2015 certification means we have a quality management system that makes it possible to identify and monitor these processes based on the changing needs and requirements of our stakeholders and the risks involved. Furthermore, an important aspect of ISO 9001:2015 is the need to continually improve. This will lead to higher customer satisfaction – this was one of the key motivations for us to obtain it.”
