During the design process, one of the challenges was the vessel’s stability during self- on- and offloading which was resolved with a stability pontoon.

The series resulted in seven ships built at CIG Shipbuilding in Poland. The first in the series ‘Atlantic Dawn’ was built for Hartman Marine Urk and was nominated for KNVTS ‘ship of the year’ in 2014.
