Lorraine Hooks – for Mike Hooks LLC

C-Job completed the concept, basic, and detail design, plus systems integration for the 27-inch cutter section dredger Lorraine Hooks, for US dredging company, Mike Hooks LLC. We collaborated closely with SPI/Mobile Pulley Works (MPW) who constructed the dredge equipment in Alabama, and Southwest Shipyards in Texas, who built the vessel. The Lorraine Hooks was delivered to its owner in 2023.
LNG bunker vessel

C-Job sees liquefied natural gas (LNG) as a suitable transition fuel for a sustainable maritime industry. However, since only a limited number of LNG bunker vessel designs exist, C-Job created an initial design concept to progress the needs of the industry. The vessel design can be scaled in many different ways, but is mainly intended for bunkering operations within a port, or serving as a short-sea LNG tanker.
Galveston Island – for GLDD

C-Job collaborated with Great Lakes Dredge & Dock Corporation (GLDD) and Conrad shipyard on the concept, basic, and detail design for a trailing suction hopper dredger (TSHD). The Galveston Island, is a simple and efficient vessel that was specifically designed to be easy to build.
C-Job CSD Series

The C-Job CSD Series is a flexible and adaptable concept design for mid-range cutter suction dredgers, with a dredge discharge diameter of 20-40 inches. The dredger design can be stationary, for use in the USA and other markets, or there’s the option to have installed power up to 30,000 horsepower if a self-propelled dredger is required.
Orion – for DEME

The Orion is a floating DP3 offshore installation vessel designed to support offshore wind parks with mega foundations and turbines. The vessel, which was a first of its kind, is a sister ship to the Green Jade. It was delivered to DEME in 2022 and currently sails around the world to perform installations for offshore wind projects.
Vox Amalia – for Van Oord

C-Job collaborated with Van Oord, a global leader in dredging and marine construction, for the development of the Vox Amalia, a trailing suction hopper dredger (TSHD) with a capacity of 18,900 m³. Van Oord provided the business case and operational requirements, while C-Job performed a feasibility study, concept design, basic design review, and detail design, and provided building supervision support.
Autonomous underwater maintenance dredger (AUMD)

C-Job’s autonomous underwater maintenance dredger (AUMD) concept is an innovative solution which supports maintenance in port environments. The AUMD combines the benefits of autonomous shipping with sustainable solutions from C-Job, creating a unique dredger design.
Ammonia carrier

C-Job undertook research to develop a new concept design for an ammonia carrier fueled by its own cargo, based on our knowledge and experience of ammonia as an energy source. Our study shows that ammonia can be used as marine fuel if a number of safety measures are included in the design, and that its use can achieve a significant reduction in greenhouse gas emissions for maritime shipping.
Bonny River – for DEME

C-Job was commissioned to develop the initial and concept design for this trailing suction hopper dredger (TSHD) on behalf of DEME, one of the world’s leading dredging companies. The Bonny River is a next-generation LNG-ready vessel, which is designed specifically to meet the challenges of dredging hard soils. It boasts a hopper capacity of 15,000 m³, and can operate in deep waters exceeding 100 meters.
Texelstroom – for TESO

To handle increased traffic between the island of Texel and Den Helder on the Dutch mainland, the ferry company Texels Eigen Stoomboot Onderneming (TESO) commissioned the Texelstroom ferry, choosing C-Job to deliver an innovative and sustainable design. The Texelstroom is the first passenger ferry to run on compressed natural gas (CNG), so C-Job applied our risk-based design approach for this vessel and also worked closely with regulators to ensure compliance.
