C-Job Summer Event – a New Tradition is Born

In the rush of our everyday lives, we sometimes forget to take time out and seek knowledge from new sources. Therefore C-Job Naval Architects organized its Summer Event on a sunny afternoon in June to give relations the opportunity to become inspired and to catch up with their network.

Guests were invited to the new C-Job Rotterdam office which hosted the Summer Event. C-Job first opened its Rotterdam office in 2017 and recently moved to accommodate the 22 naval architects and marine engineers and allow for expansion in the future.

The afternoon kicked off with two keynote speakers; Richard van Hooijdonk, a trendwatcher and futurist, and Paul Iske, Professor of Open Innovation & Business Venturing and founder of the Institute of Brilliant Failures, shared their insights which set the tone for the rest of the afternoon. Particularly Professor Iske’s call to fail, and fail brilliantly, as you never know what might come of it.

Afterwards, guests enjoyed refreshments from the Gin & Tonic Bar, bites from the barbecue on the patio and admired the view of the Nieuwe Maas. Alternatively, guests could tour the new office to learn more about C-Job’s Research and Development projects and take in the interior, which was created by C-Job’s in-house Interior Engineering and Design Department.

We want to thank everyone who came to our Summer Event and we hope to see you (again) next year!
