SHIP & MARINE ENGINEERING CENTER

Production-ready engineering that keeps delivery on track

The Ship & Marine Engineering Center unites C-Job’s engineering expertise across Poland, Bulgaria and Ukraine, providing shipyards and design offices with one coordinated engineering partner for multidisciplinary work packages, scalable capacity and consistent project execution from basic design through detail design and production documentation.

Quality engineering services that fit your process, standards and schedule

Our Eastern Europe-based Ship & Marine Engineering Center helps shipyards and design offices deliver projects with greater confidence through engineering support that integrates with their existing workflows. From core disciplines to specialist analysis and automation, we provide production-ready output that reduces rework, supports planning and keeps projects moving.

Basic Engineering

Create a stronger engineering foundation for downstream efficiency, compliance and buildability.

Detail Design & Engineering

Develop engineering that fits yard standards, workflows and production realities.

Production Documentation

Deliver precise, production-ready packages that reduce ambiguity and fabrication risk.

Increase predictability. Reduce risk. Improve buildability. Keep design on track.

Shipyards and design offices face constant pressure to deliver on schedule while managing limited capacity, complex scopes and the risk of rework when engineering and production are not fully aligned. C-Job helps reduce that pressure with precise, production-ready engineering, transparent collaboration and a team that fits into your tools, standards and workflows. The result is stronger buildability, clearer coordination and greater confidence from engineering through delivery.

Case studies

600-passenger vessel – for a German cruise company

C-Job supported a family-owned cruise company when a ship needed Tier III modifications to become compliant with Norwegian Heritage Fjords and Mediterranean sailing regulations. This required a comprehensive upgrade to the vessel's power system.

E-Pusher 1 – for Kotug

C-Job worked with Padmos, a family run shipbuilder, on behalf of their client and shipowner, Kotug. In 2021, Kotug launched its E-Pusher concept of fully electric pusher boat and barges, which are a world first. The concepts were created by Kotug, and C-Job collaborated with Padmos on the basic and detailed engineering for the first of these vessels, the E-Pusher 1.

Green Jade – for CSBC

C-Job supported CSBC with basic design and main crane integration for the Green Jade, the first heavy lift and offshore wind installation vessel built in Taiwan. The vessel, which features a crane with 4,000 tons of lifting capacity and DP3 capability, was launched by CDWE, a joint venture between CSBC and DEME Offshore, and entered service in 2023.

FAQ

We provide full-cycle ship design support, including basic and detail design, production documentation, and retrofit solutions. All disciplines are handled in-house: hull, piping, hull outfitting, electrical, HVAC, equipment, structural analysis.

Both. The majority of our work is delivered remotely, with no reduction in quality, coordination, or project oversight. When an onsite presence genuinely adds value — supporting production, resolving issues in real time, or managing handover — our engineers can do this directly at the yard.

Yes. Our team of 120+ engineers is well positioned to cover workload peaks — whether due to tight deadlines, resource gaps, or project expansion — without disrupting your existing processes.

The Ship & Marine Engineering Center (SEC) is ISO 9001:2015 certified. Across 500+ completed projects since 2017, our deliverables have achieved an average client approval rating of 92%. Around 70% of our clients return with new projects.

Yes, it is our strength. Our in-house team of 120+ engineers covers all technical disciplines, giving us the scale to execute multi-discipline projects of significant complexity and duration. We maintain an internal knowledge base and a comprehensive library of equipment and components to accelerate development — even on the most demanding vessel types.
